Measure T Backers' Fundraiser Set for Sunday

Get Involved Today!The Humboldt Coalition for Community Rights will hold a Mediterranean dinner on Sunday night to support Measure T, the Ordinance to Protect Our Right to Fair Elections and Local Democracy. The initiative, which would prohibit non-local corporations from making contributions to county elections, will be on the June ballot.

The doors of the Labor Temple at 840 E St. in Eureka will open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. Activities include a silent auction, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, local beer and wine, music and more.

Tickets are $20 per person in advance, $24 per person at the door and $10 each for children over age 12. Children under age 12 will get in free.
